Looking up, I spotted the Gymea Lilly with its hardy reddish rosette of trumpet-shaped cluster of flowers at the top of the 6-metre tall flower spike.
They are absolutely magnificent to see – especially in large numbers in the thick bush – their beauty stands out and high.
I focused on the flower rosette with its multi-layered bloom full of texture and movement.
