Design: The Guards Tent
Roll size: 10m long x 53cm wide / Pattern Repeat: 9cm
One of these buildings is the Guards’ Tent from 1782. The entire facade is stripe painted to resemble a canvas tent, when in fact it is made of sheet metal.
Although The Guards’ Tent appears as mere decoration in the Park it does in fact conceal a purpose – barracks for the Royal Guards.
